I have finally made the leap from
blog stalker to actual blogger. I am really looking forward to sharing
ideas and collaborating with others! I have been so inspired through
other teaching blogs. I hope to be able to add to the conversation.
If there is one word that
summarizes my teaching philosophy it would be independence. I use
this word a lot in the classroom. I tell my students that we are always
learning and working toward being independent. My job is to give them
tools and strategies that enable them to do things on their own.
